1/3/2022 UPDATE: kidSney has recently re-applied for our 501c3 certification from the IRS. Our team will keep you informed as we progress through achieving this major milestone! We are excited to re-ignite this fire that was started on 1/7/2014 when our founder received a life saving gift from his mother - a kidney transplant!
kidSney's founder was diagnosed with IGA Nephropathy and Medullary Sponge kidney diseases at an early age. Those diseases wore down his kidneys over time and eventually he was placed on kidney dialysis (hemo and peritoneal) for roughly one year before his mother was cleared to donate him a kidney. He received the kidney transplant on 1/7/2014 and has had a new appreciation for life ever since!
kidSney is an organization that was created to assist families that are affected by chronic kidney disease and transplants.
kidSney's mission is to provide kidney transplant awareness and connect kidney patients facing similar challenges.
kidSney's logos as seen above were designed by Eli (10 yrs.) and Evan (15 yrs.) Haines. Their story can be viewed on the inspirational stories tab.
